Registered Nurse (Full-time, Part-time or Casual Staff)

We are currently looking for highly professional, experienced Registered Nurses (Med/Surg).

Qualifications:
  • BScN
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Proof of PLP as mandated by the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario
  • BCLS/ACLS Certificate
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • Proof of current immunizations for Covid-19, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (MMRV) proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Minimum of 1 year working acute care experience
Other Requirements:
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Shift Scheduling Requirements:
    • Must be available for “urgent or last minute” shifts, scheduled within 2 hours of shift start time.
    • Must be able to work the flexible shift times, depending on the facility; eight (8) or twelve (12) hours in length.
    • Must be able to ‘float’ from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
    • Must be available to work all shifts – days, evenings & nights – including weekdays, weekends & statutory holidays.
    • Required to work two (2) weekends per month.

Qualifications:
  • RPN Diploma
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Proof of membership with RPNAO
  • BCLS Certificate
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • Proof of current immunizations for Covid-19, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (MMRV) proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year as well as Hepatitis B
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Minimum of 1 year working acute care experience
  • Successful completion of Phlebotomy course is considered an asset

  • Able to work with persons with Infectious diseases
  • ACLS & BLS Certificate Required
  • Critical Care Certificate (for ICU applicants)
  • Proof of current immunizations for Covid-19, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (MMRV) proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Room/Critical Care Unit
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Other Requirements:

  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Shift Scheduling Requirements:

  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check

  • Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) is an asset
  • PSW certification MUST be from an accredited colleges from Ontario.
